Being a Coach myself, when I first met Jamal years ago, I knew he was an outstanding coach and was extremely inspirational to others in the fitness industry. Last year when I was looking to take my training to another level, it was a no-brainer that Jamal would be the coach I wanted to help me out. I have been working with Jamal for over 6 months and I have seen outstanding results, from increase muscle mass, improved fitness and even hitting new personal bests on Olympic Lifts and compound strength movements. Jamal is da best. He's definitely the reason I made the transition to Oly from Crossfit and helped me fall in love with weightlifting. I have been a gym bunny for about 15 years doing what bunnies do lol. However the last 2 years have been life changing as that’s when I started valuing body’s functionality. I now put a geat thought on how I move. With that being said my strength development has surprised me, I used to be afraid of heavy weights but with your training and encouragement I have the confidence to handle heavy weights. Since starting training with Jamal a year ago I quickly realised that the training I had been doing beforehand was not as effective as I thought. Jamal has shown me correct technique and put me on a programme where my strength goals have improved immensely. He has a wealth of knowledge and has shown me so many different ways of training and helped with nutrition as well. After an injury where I thought I wouldn’t be able to train, Jamal quickly adjusted my routine and helped put me back on a quicker path to recovery with his expert knowledge. I enjoy and look forward to each training session. Jamal motivates you, quickly identifies your potential and encourages you to meet and surpass your goals and abilities. He makes the sessions fun and we always have a laugh, but never lose the focus of training. I look forward to many more sessions and continued improvement.

I approached Jamal for PT sessions not only because we're old colleagues and friends, but because he has a very specific skillset in Strength and Conditioning coaching that I knew I could gain an education from. I also had my own personal training goals I wanted to achieve. Over the last 3 months of training sessions, Jamal surpassed my expectations as a Coach. He broadened my knowledge, increased my confidence in lifting weights, adjusted my technique and form and gave me huge encouragement to progress further in my training Jamal is a true professional and is hugely approachable and adaptable, tailoring my training sessions to my goals and knowing exactly when to push you hard.
